Ethiopia Aricha Adorsi

Bright, sweet, and beautifully layered, Aricha Adorsi is a washed coffee from the heart of Ethiopia’s Yirgacheffe region. Expect a medium body, delicate floral aromatics, and fruit sweetness that carries through to a pleasing finish.

Coffee cherries from surrounding smallholder farms are brought to the Adorsi washing station, where they’re carefully sorted, depulped, fermented, washed, and dried on raised beds. The result is the crisp, expressive cup that first made many of us fall in love with Ethiopian coffee.

For our roaster Alex, a washed Yirgacheffe sparked his first realization of just how complex coffee could be. He’s especially excited to share this one with you. Brew it as a pour-over to explore its layers, or try it flash chilled or as cold brew while the warm days last.
