Rwanda Huye Mountain Natural is a vibrant, fruit forward coffee produced by David Rubanzangabo and the Huye Mountain Washing Station in Rwanda’s Southern Province. Grown between 1600 and 2200 meters and processed naturally, this Bourbon variety delivers a juicy cup layered with notes of blackberry, sage, and chocolate sweetness.
David founded Huye Mountain in 2011 after years working on agricultural development projects focused on rebuilding Rwanda’s coffee sector and supporting rural farming communities. Since then, Huye Mountain has become known for meticulous quality standards and exceptional natural process coffees.
For this lot, only the ripest cherries are selected and carefully dried on raised beds for several weeks. The result is a coffee with bright fruit character, balanced sweetness, and a smooth medium body that shines as both a filter brew and espresso.
