Ethiopia Kolla Bolcha

We first brought in Kolla Bolcha back in 2021, and it quickly became one of our team’s all-time favorite Ethiopians. We’re thrilled to welcome it back this season — just as clean, bright, and beautifully structured as we remember.

Sourced from 759 smallholder farmers in the highlands of Agaro, this washed Ethiopia Landrace coffee is grown at 2000–2100 masl in the fertile, shaded soils of the Kimbibit community. Processing at the Kolla Bolcha washing station is exceptionally meticulous: mechanical depulping, an overnight soak in fiberglass tanks, and a slow, steady dry on raised beds bring clarity and balance to every cup.

This is Western Ethiopia at its finest — crisp, elegant, and full of vibrant energy. We taste delicious notes of cola, grilled peaches, and lemon zest. Thanks to our partners at Red Fox Coffee for getting this beautiful coffee to our community.
